Adventure training in the British Army

Skiing the Alps. Climbing sea cliffs. Diving coral reefs. It’s all part of the job.

At a glance

Adventure training is one of the most popular experiences in the British Army - and it's easy to see why. The training takes you into the great outdoors, all around the world. From scuba diving to mountaineering, you'll get the chance to challenge yourself and go beyond regular military training. You'll build confidence and resilience, plus leadership and teamwork skills. And if you find an activity you really love, we'll help you get certified. No matter where you are in your Army career, adventure training is open to all members, including Reservists.
